Hey guys, I've been a long time member here and it's time to finally let go of my baby. This car has been within my family since 1997 when it came off the dealer lot, and has been my personal car since 2003.
![]() ![]() 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse 118,xxx Miles Metallic Red Intake: Stainless intake, Greddy Knockoff Bypass Valve, Extreme Turbo Systems 7-inch DSM FMIC setup 2.5" piping Exhaust: MachV 2.5-inch o2 housing, RRE 2.5-3 inch catless downpipe, Apexi World Sport 3-inch cat-back Turbo: MHI EvoIII 16g ported with upgraded wastegate flapper, Hallman pro MBC Fuel: Walbro 190 lph fuel pump, 660cc injectors Drivetrain: Newer OEM clutch, resurfaced flywheel, Symborski shift linkage kit, MachV Shift cable stiffeners, Fidanza short shifter Suspension: front/rear brace bars, GAB Coilovers Tires: FN01RC 17" wheels, Hankook Ventus 215's Brakes: Baer 13" Track Big Brake Kit, AEM 11.5" rear BBK, MachV stainless lines Exterior: Debadged rear end, clear side markers, chrome Mitsubishi badge on front bumper Interior: Teflon shift knob, Prosport boost gauge, Nardi Steering Wheel Electronics: HKS Turbo Timer, Apexi S-AFCII, Hardwired radar Mechanically she's in good shape, 118k miles on the stock 7bolt with no running issues besides a little lifter tick sometimes. Problems would be an annoying short in the charging system that is not allowing the battery to hold a charge (narrowing it down, think it's the alternator, though once it's jumped it runs like a champ) and it leaks a bit of oil from the oil pan side of the turbo oil return line (gasket methinks). Beyond that, it's at pretty low boost (18 or so pounds) and just sitting waiting for interest. I'm looking for 6k USD obo, don't lowball me please (there is alot of time blood sweat and cash into this car for me to throw it away), if you live far outside the chicago area I'd suggest trailering it, as having to jump it if you stall 300 miles from home really isn't fun, and it IS a DSM. Thanks for the ride guys.

Shes a beaut, with a few fixes someone is going home very happy. What made you finally decide to sell it? and what's a nardi steering wheel? It looks like a stock wheel in the picture.

Yeah that's a stock wheel, I'll attach the picture with the new one.
I'm selling mainly because I don't drive it, it sits at home while I'm away at school collecting dust and taking up space on the driveway. Hmmm seems I can't, here's the new wheel. ![]()
