Well actually I did some research, it's a 7-bolt non turbo 4g63. As we all know during mid 1992 they changed the turbo engines to a 7 bolt and did away with the 6 bolt. I guess during that time... |

I'de say the chances of your caps going bad again are better than you think. First off I assume you bought a used ECU (and who can blame ya when new ones are like $300) and second of all if the... |

So today I took another throttle body I had laying around cleaned it and steel brushed the inside so there is absolutely no sticking when the throttle plate closes. I also put the FIAV bypass plate... |

Code 41 is injector issues, which I think is highly unlikely so I would double check the code. If you get the same thing and your absolutely sure its not the injectors (or the connections to them)... |

If the FIAV bypass plate doesn't stop my idle surge then I guess its possible I have a bad ISC (again!) I can't remember if the one I replaced in my car is a black cap ISC though, maybe I'll check... |

Oh, from what I read online idle surging can be caused by not blocking the FIAV when you remove the coolant lines to the throttle body. Now why do I have to get a stand alone ECU to remove the ISC,... |
